The Goldie Warriors head into tomorrow’s Vanapa-Brown Rugby League Super Nines Finals top of the table after winning all their respective group matches last weekend.

Eight teams from the original seventeen will now play-off for the opportunity to claim the 2021 Super Nines title, with the Warriors joined by the likes of the Bisogo Vipers, Ogobe Rats who also finished undefeated with two wins and a draw.

The remaining eight teams will now be grouped into two pools of four, with each team playing each other once over the Saturday and Sunday to decide final placings in the Groups.

Group A will feature the Warriors, Erom Tigers, Knights and ODK Dragons, whilst Group B will feature the Vipers, Rats, Laloki Medics and Nari Panthers.

The top two teams from each Pool will then play-off for the Semi Finals for the Super Nines Trophy, whilst the bottom two from each Pool will play-off for the Semi Finals of the Super Nines for the Super Nines Bowl.

The Vapana-Brown Super Nines features clubs from across the Trans-Vanapa Brown ward within Central Province’s Kairuku-Hiri District.
