The second leg of the Nicaragua Nines is set to take place this Sunday in north-west city of Chinandega with the Mercenariosu looking to build on their first-leg lead.

The Nicaragua Nines is a three-leg tournament, which sees each of the four participants play each other twice before the competition finals. Both the first and second legs have been played in Chinandega, whilst the third and final leg of the group stages will take place at San José del Obraje on April 25. The competition Finals are currently scheduled on May 9.

The teams taking part are the MonseRaptors, BigOne and Mercenariosu, who are all based in the host city of Chinandega, whilst the fourth team, the Diablos, come from the Nicaraguan capital of Managua.
