The Brasil Rugby League has this week confirmed three additional matches for the Men’s National team, the Carcarás, as the side prepares for the proposed 2022 Latin American Championship.

The matches, which be based in Australia due to travel restrictions, will see the Carcarás face opponents from Central America, Asia and Europe this June and October.

First up will be the Philippines Tamaraws
on June 13 before the Carcarás face Turkey and El Salvador in late October.

The Carcarás have already faced a Uruguay XIII representative team earlier this year, in which they won 60 – 0.

Brasil intends to take part in the Latin American Championship in Colombia next year and will be using the extensive international schedule to help build it’s squad depth and experience.
