The Newcastle Knights will be looking to bounce back from last week’s loss when they face the Newtown Jets at Central Coast Stadium this Friday afternoon to kick off Round Two of the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup.

After going down to Mounties 26 – 8 at McDonald Jones Stadium, the Knights will travel down the M1 to face a Newtown jets team which defeated the St George Illawarra Dragons last Sunday at Kogarah.

In other matches taking place over the weekend, the Western Suburbs Magpies will face the North Sydney Bears at Campbelltown, whilst the Eels will face the Canberra Raiders at Ringrose Park. Televised game for the round will be the Mounties facing the Penrith Panthers.
