The Tupapa Panthers have maintained their winning streak in the 2021 Cook Islands Premier League, defeating the Aitutaki Sharks 58 – 24 last Friday.
After a competitive first half, the Panthers ran away with the match in the second half to record their third win of the season.
In the other Premier League match played, defending Champions, the Ngatangiia-Matavera Sea Eagles suffered another significant loss, going down to Avatiu Eels 74 – 0. This follows their 84 – 8 loss to the Tupapa Panthers the previous week.
Meanwhile in the Women’s Premiership, the Tupapa Panthers defeated the Arorangi Bears 8 – 6 to record their first win of the season.
