Following on from the success of the Nadroga-Navosa Nines earlier this year, the Kaiviti Silktails have extended their Women’s Rugby League Elite Development Pathway (EDP) programme, working closely with the newly formed Nadroga Broncos, Nadi Raiders and Nasinu Panthers teams.

The EDP programme is designed to help identify talented male and female athletes and provide the respective pathways for these players to reach various Elite Rugby League teams and competitions. It is also designed to help establish or strength local competitions to provide more opportunities across Fiji to play Rugby League.

This week was the second block of training for the Broncos, Raiders and Panthers clubs, with each taking part in a triangular scrimmage that ran over the weekend. Emerging victorious from the scrimmage were the Nadi Raiders, who won both their respective matches, including defeating their Nadroga-Navosa Nines Grand Final opponents, the Nadroga Broncos.

RESULTS:
Nadi Raiders 6 d. Nasinu Panthers 0
Nasinu Panthers 4 l. Nadroga Broncos 18
Nadroga Broncos 10 l. Nadi Raiders 12
