Rugby League continues to make inroads in the South American nation of Brazil, with another new club set to join the Brazilian Premiership in 2022.

The Santa Bárbara d’Oeste based Wolves 019 are the third Rugby League club from the State of Sao Paulo and are set to join the likes of Taubate and the Sao Paulo Raiders in future Men’s and Women’s Premierships.

Current National Representative player, Douglas Parazi, is set to coach the team, with recruitment for the club set to begin when Santa Bárbara d’Oeste host the 2021 Brazilian Premiership Finals featuring the the Maringa Hawks, Melina and the Vitoria Rhinos.
