Competition leaders, the M2 Mumuts, Community Hall Tigers and Guava Pirates continued their undefeated start to the Morata Women’s Off-Season Rugby League competition, after recording wins last weekend at Kone Tigers Oval.

Meanwhile the Mautana Roosters secured their first win of the year, defeating the KK Vikings 16 – 0, whilst defending Premiers, the M3 Bulldogs, were held to a scoreless draw by Megusa Sisters.

Despite boasting Papua New Guinea Orchids Roswita Kapo and Vanessa Palme, plus senior players from Port Moresby Rugby Football League club, the Paga Panthers, the Bulldogs were unable to breach the Sisters defence in one of two scoreless draws from the weekend.

The 2020/21 Morata Women’s Off-Season competition features fourteen clubs from northern Port Moresby and is a feeder competition to the Port Moresby Rugby Football League Women’s competition.
