The QPR Colts have ended the Border Storm’s NCD Governor’s Cup title defence, winning 8 – 6 in Sunday’s Quarter Final replay.
The Colts will now face the Toks Mafuka Eels in Monday’s competition Semi Final.
The Colts and Storm were the 2019 NCD Governor’s Cup Grand Finalist, with the Storm edging the team in the Finals. The Colts are chasing their second piece of silverware in two months after winning the inaugural Sepik Nines.
The NCD Governor’s Cup is an Off-Season Rugby League competition run annually around Christmas / New Year in Port Moresby. 48 teams entered the 2020 tournament.
