The teams for the inaugural Rugby League Samoa Island of Origin series have been announced, with the Uplou Maroons set to face the Savaii Blues at ACP Marist Stadium in Lotopa this Wednesday.

The new Representative fixture replaces the Fantastic Four competition as the Premier domestic clash on the Samoan Rugby League calendar, and will run concurrently with the State of Origin series in Australia.

All matches will be played at 5:15pm local time and televised on TV1 Samoa.

Game two of the series will be played at the Amoa Ground in Puapua, Savaii, whilst the third and final match will take place at the prestigious Apia Park on November 18.
