A loss to the Makoi Bulldogs has allowed the Army Bears (Mataivalu Rugby League) to leap the Nadera Panthers and take top spot in the Fiji National Rugby League Vodafone Cup : Nasinu Zone at the end of Round Four of competition.

The previously undefeated Panthers fell agonisingly short against the Makoi Bulldogs, going down 14 – 12 at the Marist Brothers High School in Suva, allowing the Bears to take top spot thanks to their better for and against. The Army Bears were runners up in the 2019 Vodafone Cup, falling to the Ravoravo Rabbitohs in the Final.

Meanwhile in the Suva Zone, the Topline Warriors, Namuaniwaqa Sea Eagles and Lami Steelers all sit on six competition points after four rounds, with each team recording three wins from their first four fixtures.

Round Seven of the Vodafone Cup : Nadi Zone will be played on Wednesday afternoon.
