The International Rugby League (formerly Rugby League International Federation) has this week announced that the regional entities of Pacific Rugby League, ASEAN Rugby League, Indigenous Rugby League and the Middle East Rugby League will be merged into the Asia Pacific Rugby League Confederation.
The consolidation of entities is part of a streamlining of the International Rugby League regional bodies.
International Rugby League Southern Hemisphere Manager, Jeremy Edwards, will manage the new Confederation.
