Lomaivuna High School has won the inaugural Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Girls competition after defeating Assemblies of God 6 – 4 in the tournament Final on Saturday.

The competition featured eight teams from six schools based in the South-East which took part in a nine-a-side tournament.

The competition is the first Female School’s competition run by the Fiji National Rugby League and featured players aged 15 – 19 from the various schools.

Schools which took part in the tournament were Lomaivuna High School (2 Teams), Assemblies of God High School, Naitasiri High School (2 Teams), Swami Vivekananda College, Dudley High School and LDS Church College.
