The Australian Army representative team have won the inaugural Army Tri-Nations after defeating the United Kingdom Army 32 – 24 in Brisbane last week.
Taking place at West Brisbane’s Purtell Park, the Australian Army Thunder held off a committed British side to finish the inaugural tournament undefeated after previously defeating New Zealand 24 – 6 in the competition opener.
The Army Tri-Nations was the first major International Army-only Rugby League event and feature representatives from Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
