The Solomon Islands have named their train on squad for the upcoming 2019 Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa.

The 36-man squad features predominately local talent, with Liam Pakau and Damien Rex-Horoi from Australia and New Zealanders, Taklyn Loloselo, Lewis Auga and John Auga to make the squad.

The Solomon Islands will play the likes of Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Tonga in what will be the third time the Men’s Rugby League event has been contested at the multi-national tournament.

This will be the second time Solomon Islands has competed in a Pacific Games tournament after making their debut at the 2015 Pacific Games in Port Moresby.
