Australia and Tonga have finished on top after the first day at the 2018 Commonwealth Championship in Redcliffe.
In wet conditions, the Mate Ma’a Tonga team finished top in Group B of the Men’s U23s and Women’s competitions, whilst the Australian representative teams topped Group A in the Men’s U23s, Women’s and Physical Disability competitions.
Day Two of the tournament will feature the respective competition finals.
