The best players from the Fiji National Rugby League’s Vodafone Cup are will be on their way to British Columbia this week to take part in a two match tour of Canada.

The Fiji Residents Bati will take on the best of British Columbia Rugby League when they played the British Columbia Bulldogs on Tuesday, September 5 in Delta, Vancouver, before taking on the Canadian Wolverines on Friday, September 9 in Richmond.

The two match tour is part of the Fiji National Rugby League’s World Cup programme, designed to provide opportunities for local based players to be considered in the Fiji Bati squad which will take part in the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

The match up will be the second time Canada and Fiji have gone head to head in a Rugby League international, with the two teams meeting at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu last year as part of the Ohana Cup. In that match, Fiji won 22-12.
