Fans will be able to watch the best Rugby League players in Australia and New Zealand for as little as $55 when Perth hosts its first Test match on October 15.

General public tickets to the Test match between Australia and New Zealand, at nib Stadium are now on sale to all members of the public.

Pre-sales for the match have been strong and supporters are encouraged to get in early to take advantage of the ticket prices.

The nib Stadium Test match will be staged prior to the 2016 Four Nations Tournament in the UK and will be an important lead-in match for both teams.

It will be the first time Perth has the chance to see the best players in the two nations on the same stage.

NRL Head of Commercial Andrew Abdo said initial interest in the game highlighted Perth’s enthusiasm for its first Rugby League Test match.

“The support that Rugby League has received in recent seasons was a key reason we decided to stage a Test match in Perth and we have certainly been buoyed by the pre-sale wait list, the Premiership-Test match packages as well as interest from Club members,” Mr Abdo said.

“I would certainly encourage fans to take advantage of these prices so they can witness the best of international Rugby League.”

The October Test match will be supported by the WA Government through Tourism WA and VenuesWest.

The release of General Public tickets comes following the announcement that the new Perth Stadium would host the second State of Origin match in 2019.

nib Stadium has also been confirmed as a host venue for two matches at the Rugby League World Cup 2017.
