This weekend just past saw Mexico host a coaching clinic for players new to Rugby League.
The latest batch of Mexican Rugby League players got the opportunity to put their new skills into action at the nines tournament on the same day.
The four team Nines Tournament saw the existing teams of Spartans, Silverbacks and Grizzlys take part. All this was done with a view to the new championship to be held in 2016.
“We are seeking to raise to 100% the level of our league” said Carlos Mungia. Who was clear to point out it was about developing better players rather than keeping score on the day.
